How It All Started

My husband and I built our home in Fairfield Glade in 2016–while he was working overseas and I was wrapping up our life in Virginia. I was able to travel to Tennessee monthly to check on construction, but I often wished I could see what was happening when I wasn’t there.

A year later, after we had moved in, my mom also chose to build a home here while living out of state. Since I was nearby, I regularly uploaded photos of the building process to a private website, allowing her to follow progress from afar.
