June 29–Stopping point

The framing crew is basically stuck until the trusses for the second floor are delivered. All of the first floor walls are up, and the staircase is in place, but the crane operator is off for a long holiday weekend and won’t be available until Wednesday.

June 27–Some assembly required

This will truly be a stick-built house. They spent all day measuring and cutting all the pieces needed to assemble your house. Middle pieces are all neatly stacked and labeled, and edge pieces are laid out in their proper places.

June 12–Dirt work

They brought in trucks full of dirt and gravel to do the preliminary grading on your lot. The driveway is nearly flat, and slopes just slightly from right to left. The front yard on the guest bedroom side slopes steeply down from the sidewalk/driveway.
