The footers were poured today–they worked from 7:00 until nearly 4:00. The foundation work should begin in a couple of days.

May 28–Storm damage
Severe storms last night (high winds, lightning, hail, tornado warnings) knocked over the twisty trees at the back of the lot. They will be removed, but possibly not until the final grading is done, since they fell toward the back of the lot and will not be in the way of construction.
May 19–High volume expected?
An additional porta-potty has been delivered. Must be expecting an abundance of laborers in the coming weeks?
May 17–Grinder pump
The grinder pump has been installed in the left side of the yard.
May 15–Stakes and juice
A surveyor has staked out where the footers will be poured. A temporary electric meter has been installed, but there is currently no power to the box. The permit box is in place.
May 12–Lot clearing
May 9–Ready to go!
The port-a-potty has been delivered. Let the building begin.
